Shaan

Shaan is BC's premier South Asian A Cappella group, founded in 2010 and officially became a registered student organization this past spring! As the only South Asian musical group on campus, Shaan strives to expose the greater Boston College community to an entirely different style of music that merges traditional South Asian sounds, rhythms, and styles with more modern, popular music. This makes for an entirely unique sound that adds diversity to the Boston College a cappella community.

Shaan made its debut performance at the Annual South Asian Student Association Culture Show in February of 2011 and has continued to perform there and at other events across campus, including A Cappellafest, Acappallooza, AHANA Celebration Week, International Week, and more!
